Risden Reserves beat New Town in Round 3...

Risden Wood Reserves held out for a win against New Town in an evenly contested match at Fairways. Both teams played some good football and the tie was well balanced until Risden extended their lead to two goals in the second half. Risden eventually won 3-1 and move on to the next round of the League Cup. [Match Report]

New Town lose to solid Harberts...

Top of the table Harberts beat New Town 2-0 in a close match at Northbrooks. New Town gave a good account of themselves, however they were unable to gather any momentum and could'nt find the back of the net. [Match Report]

An improved performance from New Town was not enough to hold on to a win against a determined Maiden side. Both teams contributed to a good game of football but both teams would also be slightly disappointed not to take away the three points. [Match Report]

Parndon have enough in reserve to secure a draw...

New Town struggled to get going in their Division 1 match against Parndon Royals Reserves. Parndon were looking the more dangerous side in a tight match but New Town took the lead with ten minutes to go. However, an equaliser in the final few minutes secured a draw for the away team.
